SCHEDULE CHANGES

Our website has been updated to reflect the new schedule which started on Monday 15 April. We have intoduced some new programmes and moved some of the existing ones to allow for the new programmes (some of which are listed below).

Ian’s Midweek Mash-up  Wednesdays 12pm -2pm, Fred Setter’s Electric City Thursdays 9-10pm, The Blair Radio Project Saturdays  8-10pm and Craig’s Somthing For The Weekend Fridays 6-8pm. There are still a couple of changes to make so to stay up-to-date keep checking here.

I AM ME SCOTLAND CAMPAIGN

Tune into Wave Radio to hear David Slessor taking to Craig about the I Am Me Scotland Campaign Raising Awareness of Disability Hate Crime. IAN’S LONDON MARATHON

JENNIE & JESS’S JAUNT

In May Jess and I (Jennie) will be walking across Scotland, Coast to Coast, in this year’s Great Outdoors Challenge. Mallaig to Montrose 284km hopefully including 7 Munros and 5 Corbetts (weather permitting). Raising Funds for Friends of Dr Grays. Their aim is to create wellbeing projects within the hospital for patients, staff and visitors.

 WAVE RADIO VOLUNTARY POSITIONS 

Wave Radio is always looking for presenters so if you have some spare time and think that you would like to give presenting a go email secretary@waveradio.org.uk and maybe you could be our newest presenter. Also, we are looking to fill positions in our support staff – we need volunteers to help us with fundraising and research .

WAVE RADIO IN THE COMMUNITY

The Wave Radio Outside Broadcast Van can attend community events in the Moray area. We can broadcast from most locations in Moray so your event could be on the radio. We also provide compere for the events and, when not broadcasting, we can use the trailer equipment as a PA system and play music at the event. For details please email secretary@waveradio.org.uk
