Day two of the festival had a line up of Andrew Combs, Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgreaves and Eric Church. It was an early kick off for country newcomer Andrew Combs who opened the evening at 6.30pm but with quite a few of the audience not yet arrived Andrew did a fantastic job getting the evening started. As the new boy in the line up he did more than hold his own with all the big names following him. He even came out to meet people after his performance. Next on was Chris Stapleton whose performance albeit way too short demonstrated why he has won so many awards and accolades. Then came Kacey Musgraves showing that she certainly is “Pageant Material” playing songs from that album with a couple from her first one thrown in. Her version of Spoonful Of Sugar (from a various artists album of songs from Disney) proves that the talanted Miss Musgraves doesn’t need anything to help her go down big with the crowd. Last but certainly not least was the huge performance by the headline act Eric Church. Anyone who has listened to Eric’s albums and thinks that he is good should go to his live concerts because live he is even better. His music live is superb and the musicians in his band give it all they have – it’s loud and kickin’ country music.
