The eighth annual World Autism Awareness Day is on the 2nd of April 2016. Every year, autism organisations around the world celebrate the day with unique fundraising and awareness-raising events. Join Wave Radio at 2pm on Saturday 2nd of April to raise awareness of films about autism by listening to their music with a special edition of Dale Lythgoe’s Movie Music. A list of all the films played on the show, with web links, will be available from the 2nd of April 2016.

As well as movies there are currently programmes on television. The A word on BBC1, Employable Me on BBC2 etc.
