Rusty’s Haircut 1000

Wave Radio presenter Michael “Rusty” Russell is taking on a haircut challenge!  Rusty has not had his hair cut since February and – as Wave Radio can’t get out and about to raise funds as usual this year – he has decided to raise money for us by getting his hair cut on 23 December. The more cash he raises the more “outrageous” the haircut!  £300 – No3 Skinhead  / £500 – Skinhead Mullet  / £1000 – Mohawk.

Requests & Dedications

You can still send requests / dedications to studio@waveradio.org.uk  However, we would ask that you give us at least one day’s notice for requests / dedictions because the studio will not be manned as normal during the Coronavirus (Covid19) situation.

Also, you can join the Wave Radio Requests Facebook group  HERE  once accepted you can join live shows for chat and requests

Remember – you don’t have to be in Dr Gray’s Hospital to ask for a request / dedication – anyone, anywhere can use the above email address. Also anyone, anywhere can listen to us on our website (Wave Radio Stream), with the App  (download here ) on Tune-in (Wave Radio Tune-in) or with your smart speaker (ask for Wave Radio Hospital & Community).

Coronavirus (Covid19) Changes

Wave Radio will continue 24hrs a day and where possible we will continue with live content. However, due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid19) situation, some of our progammes may be cancelled or replaced with previously recorded programmes – check our Facebook page for updates of changes to our schedule https://en-gb.facebook.com/waveonline/

Wave Radio in the Community

March 2020 – Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid19) situation the Wave Radio Outside Broadcast Van will not be available.

The Wave Radio Outside Broadcast Van can attend community events in the Moray area. We can broadcast from most locations in Moray so your event could be on the radio. We also provide compere for the events and, when not broadcasting, we can also use the van equipment as a PA system and play music at events. For details please email secretary@waveradio.org.uk
