Since the summer of 2004, Richard has been producing programmes from his purpose-built studio at home with an ever-growing library of 37,000+ pieces of music from all genres ranging from the 1920’s to the charts of today. ‘The A to Z of Pop’ programmes focus on a letter of the alphabet and then play titles or artists which begin with that letter.

In every show Paul counts down a classic UK Top 40 singles chart from a mystery year and it is down to you to guess what the mystery year is. Unlike other similar shows, you will hear the positions of the entire Top 40 and some of the big movers and new entries between numbers 40 and 11. Then you will hear the entire Top 10 in full and the mystery year is revealed just before the number 1 song.
